This is the main quest information of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in Zombie game mode called Outbreak. I have pointed out all the location of Monkey Statue, Projector, Maxis Radio Signal and it’s AMP. This information is crucial to get the JOB DONE.
The mission is summaries as below:
- Level Up your weapon to Tier 5 (Orange or Legendary) or equipped a Ultra Weapon such as Ray Gun
- Level Up your weapon to Level 3 (Purple) Pack and Punch
- Search for Maxis Signal Radio and collect Beacon Listening Device
- Go to Beacon and make a phone call at Beacon
- In new level, search for Monkey Statue for dropped film (There is 4 monkey and only 1 film)
- Take the film to Projector location and watch the slide
- Beacon will bring you to new level at RUKA map. Go to Star Icon to begin the main quest.
- Once you got in there is another set of mission to complete. (Will blog it later)

The Gameplay
Here are the RULES that I’ve set up for success after numerous tryouts.
- Team Loadout and strategy – Minimum 3 pax for guarantee success.
- Loot Everything Possible during your first 3 levels
- Do all available Quest (Orange sign and the star Main Quest) including searching for The Screaming Aether Orb
- Explore every corner of the map, waste of time but hey there is a calling card for “No Stone Unturned”
- DO NOT at anytime, go into the RED Portal that is hidden in some houses. This will start another type of mission called “Operation Excision”
Team Loadout and strategy
Before starting, your dream team should be having the following Field Upgrade and Weapon combination.
I put it accordingly based on how many players you can get but most importantly if you are on SOLO, I highly recommend going for Aether Shroud Loadout. If you are 2 players then follow the sequence built up to 4 players max.
Ring Of Fire Guy – Your job is to take on the BOSS at all times and focus to make 1 of the zombies (MIMIC/HVT/Mangrel) be your bitch(aka slave/alliance/comrade). This bitch of yours will definitely help a lot during your standing and shooting at the boss.
Frenzied Guard Guy – Your job is to be the guy protecting all your comrades and lure the massive army of zombies hitting you and chasing you around. Your DIE Shockwave can do some real serious damage with the zombie horde. (See the YouTube video as I am playing Frenzied Guard all the time)
Aether Shroud Guy – Your job is to take on the BOSS at all times and focus to make 1 of the zombies (MIMIC/HVT/Mangrel) be your bitch(aka slave/alliance/comrade). This bitch of yours will definitely help a lot during your standing and shooting at the boss.
Healing Aura Guy – Your job is to take on the BOSS at all times and focus to make 1 of the zombies (MIMIC/HVT/Mangrel) be your bitch(aka slave/alliance/comrade). This bitch of yours will definitely help a lot during your standing and shooting at the boss. Your other role is to keep all your teammate especially the Frenzied Guard Guy alive.
The weapon choice for giving the BOSS some real damage is definitely Ultra type as it had the highest damage among all guns. Ultra RAI K-84 had the lower damage but higher fire rate than Ultra Raygun so in terms of DPS, RAI K-84 definitely better.
The rest I choose Assault Rifle over LMG or SMG due to high-power damage, fast reload, decent running speed and accuracy as well.
Semtex is definitely a great choice because u can stick on a horde of zombies and it follows and while Monkey Bomb is for you to get away from the horde when you in need of health recovery or reviving a teammate.
