5-7 August 2005 | Pikom PC Fair @ KLCC

P/S: This post is from my old blog. I would like to elaborate more and some of it is added extra from the original.

Well… PIKOM Association had decide the new location for their PC Fair to be held at KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) located in the heart of the city next to our nation pride and proud megastructure KLCC Petronas Twin Tower.

The location is strategic for us exhibitor but a headache to those who tried to find a parking. You know… In the heart of the city, more over its surrounding had alot of nightlife club and pub.

This time my company had participate as Shuttle XPC dealer. We target kinda lot units to be sold in the fair but it doesn’t work the way we want it. Finale, we manage to close a net total of 20 units of system sold in the 3-day struggle for sales. I myself scored the highest among all the 5 sales person. I had to give a good example to them cos I’m a Sales Supervisor ma… Hehe.. I sold 6 unit of system in the 3-day. Kinda funny actually, my sales happen like this.. The first day I sold 1 unit then the 2nd day I sold 2 units and the last day I sold 3 unit. What a coincidence.

Anyway, I enjoyed myself over here as the security here is very tight and the hall is marvelous. It really showed the international standard exhibition quality. It had these noise reduction walls and this high roof and the stretch of exhibition is looooonnnnggggg… We as exhibitors had to bring our box rice eat outside the hall to prevent any faulty smell while the exhibition is open to visitors. The journeys to the outside hall were crazy. It takes us 5-minute to walk from the hall to the outside hall. Without the exhibitor’s tag, there is NO way we can get back in there.

My supplier had hired 2 pretty girls to help us distribute the brochure and at the same time explain bits about the Shuttle XPC capability. Well.. That’s the entire summary I can remember on that day since now is a month passed. Not bad you know my memory…

I will upload some picture for you guys out there to see…
